We are delighted to have a ‘Letters to Heaven’ memorial post box installed in Tring Road Cemetery today.
Residents and visitors to the cemetery are invited to write a letter to loved ones they have lost. Letters will then be collected, turned to pulp, mixed with wildflower seeds and then planted in the cemetery. The idea of the post box was inspired by a nine-year-old girl who wanted to send letters to her grandparents who had passed away.
Thank you to Legacy Funeral Services, Aylesbury for kindly donating and installing the post box. We hope the post box is a comfort to those who may be grieving.
