Applications open – Aylesbury Youth Town Council opens applications for young people in Aylesbury to join. At AYTC you’ll have the chance to get involved with a variety of different projects and you are required to:
– Deliver two projects planned by AYTC, these could include fundraising activities, democracy campaigns, or even an environmental event.
– Volunteer at two Aylesbury Town Council events, including St George’s Day parade, Soapbox Derby, Aylesbury on Sea, Parklife weekend, Christmas on the Cobbles.
– Attend meetings at least once every three months, meetings are held at Aylesbury Town Hall, although there will be opportunities to attend meeting virtually as well as within other establishments.
We are looking for young people who are…
– Aged 13 (Year 9) to 19 years old
– Team players
– Enthusiastic for community matters
– Passionate about youth experiences in Aylesbury
– Committed and dedicated
The application window will be open from 1 September 2024 to 29 September 2024. We will respond to all applicants with the outcome by 10 November 2024.
We will store all applications for 12 months after the application window has closed, after which it will be destroyed. If successful, your name and term of office will be recorded indefinitely for archiving purposes in the public interest. The rest of your personal data will be retained for 3 years after your term, after which it will be securely destroyed.
