Chapel Hire

Built in 1858 by the renowned Victorian architects Poulter & Woodman the non-conformist chapel is a perfect venue for small funeral wakes. The unique building can also be used for concerts, meetings, workshops, lectures and many other functions. There is ample space and good light for exhibitions of art, photography and crafts.

There are flexible seating arrangements for approximately 40 people seated in rows for talks, 30 people seated at tables for a function or for 60 people standing.

Toilet facilities are close by and there is a small kitchen with a hot water urn.

All functions are subject to agreement with the Town Council.

Hire costs

Hire costs £30 for up to three hours and this includes setting up and clear-down time. Full-day hire is available for £60.
