Did you know that 1 in 15 children do not own a book? Aylesbury Town Council aims to help residents access books without spending any money through their Borrow-a-Book scheme. The scheme has been rolled out to a number of businesses in town. The way it works is simple. Book donations are dropped off to participating businesses, a small space is dedicated to the Borrow-a-Book library and customers come in and select or swap a book.
