The Mayor of Aylesbury, Cllr Steven Lambert, Town Clerk, Deputy Mayor and Leader of the Council attended a wreath laying service this afternoon at Aylesbury Cemetery War Cross to commemorate all those who fought and gave their lives.
The Town Clerk, Mr Keith Gray JP, led the short service and wreaths were laid following a two-minute silence by the Town Mayor and his Consort Miguel Pepe, Royal British Legion Aylesbury Chairman Lorna Muir, HH Judge Sheridan DL and representatives from Aylesbury Girlguiding, Scouts and Bucks Uniformed Youth.
Philip ‘Topsy’ Turner gave the Exhortation and Bugler Michael Power from The Salvation Army played The Last Post.
