We have announced the line-up performing at this year’s Live in the Park on Saturday 27 August.

The ever-popular live music event, which takes place in Aylesbury’s Vale Park, is set to host a full day of local bands and artists performing across two stages. Last year, the jam-packed event attracted around 14,000 people.

The Town Council have announced ZARAK – a local upbeat rock band – as this year’s Live in the Park headline act.

ZARAK promise a set to remember with original songs and plenty of covers for punters to sing-along to.

Other confirmed acts are Just Can’t Get Enough, Lily Rea, Raj De, Chloe Green, Damo & the Dynamites, Bitterroot, Clark Rainbow, Next Stage Choir, Heidi Browne, LJ Phoenix, Lex Gibbon, TBaze, Codename Colin and Band With No Name.

The free full day festival will also host a Kids Entertainment Area, fantastic food caterers, great local market stalls and a Community Involvement Area. New for this year will be a fantastic Battle of the Bands hosted by XYZ Music, all the details to be announced soon.

The Mayor of Aylesbury, Cllr Anders Christensen, said: “After the success of last year’s event, I hope residents will be able to join us with their friends and family to celebrate and support local live music. We have a fantastic line-up so make sure you put the date in your diary.

“Live in the Park is part of Parklife Weekend which hosts a range of exciting and free events. More information about these events will be announced in the coming months.”
