Aylesbury Cycling UK is continuing to thrive and is now looking for new members for its 2024 spring season. People from all walks of life ride with the group. You don’t need a fancy bike or be sporty, The rides are a great way to meet new people, enjoy our lovely countyside and develop confidence by riding in a group.

The main rides are leisure cycling and include a fortnightly Newcomers ride of 15 to 20 miles and a weekly Easy Pace of around 30 miles. All rides have a café stop half way for cake, bacon rolls, tea and coffee. Group riding is a great incentive to get your bike out the shed, get fit and see the lovely Bucks countryside.

All you need is a serviceable bike with a few gears if you’re planning to try the Easy Pace, a spare tube, comfortable clothes to ride in and we’ll do the rest. Riding with a group means greater safety, you don’t get lost, somebody will always help fix a puncture and we set the pace to suit all riders, so you don’t have to worry about keeping up.

Rides start from The Watermead Inn, Weston Turville shops or the Bugle Horn near Stone at 9:30 a.m.  and we post the rides on our Facebook page or by email!

We also meet up every second Wednesday at the Kings Head Aylesbury in 7:30 p.m. It’s a good way to meet the group if you’re not ready to ride and people will happily tell you more.

We also have a faster group for the more sporty riders.
